How we measure payout times

This page was written before we had a single report, on purpose. A method published after the results is not a method, it is a description of whatever the results turned out to be.

Where we are right now

Zero approved reports. Nothing on this site is presented as a measurement by us — every withdrawal time you see in a review or a payment guide is the window the operator publishes in its own terms, and it is labelled that way where it appears.

What a report contains

A payout report is a structured form, not a review. It pays 300 Coins on approval, and the amount does not depend on whether the casino comes out well or badly.

Casino and payment method: Interac e-Transfer, iDebit / Instadebit, Crypto, Visa / Mastercard, e-Wallet (Skrill, Neteller…), Bank transfer
Amount, as a bracket: Never an exact figure: Under C$100, C$100–500, C$500–1,000, Over C$1,000. We do not need to know what you had, only which order of magnitude it was.
Hours from request to money received: The single headline number, capped at 720 hours — beyond thirty days it is almost certainly not a completed withdrawal.
The moment the request was filed: So a request sent on a Friday evening can be separated from one sent on a Tuesday morning.
Province: Ontario runs under its own regulator with its own operators. Averaging it together with the rest of Canada would misdescribe both. Collected as: Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut.
The split, when the member knows it: Hours the casino held the request pending, and hours it spent in transit afterwards. Optional, because not everyone can tell the two apart, and a number nobody can verify is worse than a blank.

When we publish, and when we say nothing

Nothing is published for a payment method until at least 12 approved reports exist for that method. Not 12 reports in total — 12 for that specific method. Below the line the block does not render at all: there is no partial version, no "based on a few reports" caveat, nothing.

The reason is plain. A median calculated from a handful of observations moves wildly when one more arrives. Publishing it would create a number that looks like knowledge and behaves like noise, and readers have no way to tell the difference from the outside. So we hold it back until it stops swinging.

We aggregate by method across Canada rather than by method for each casino separately. With 6 methods that is 72 cells to fill; per method per casino it would be 360. The stricter split is not more rigorous, it is simply unreachable — it would mean publishing nothing for years, which serves nobody.

Every published figure carries the number of observations behind it and how many different casinos those observations came from. A median over six operators is a different thing from the same median over one, and you should be able to see which you are looking at.

Why we split the wait in two

A single number — "48 hours" — hides the only thing that would help you choose. Part of that wait is the casino holding your request under review. The rest is the payment rail moving the money after approval.

Those two have different causes and different fixes. A slow review is the operator. A slow rail is the method, and you can change the method. When we have enough reports to separate them, we publish them separately.

What stops this being gamed

Every report is read by a person before it is approved or paid.
One report per casino per member per day.
Reports are accepted only for withdrawals made in the last 60 days. Older than that and the details are a recollection, not a record.
The split has to add up: pending plus transit cannot exceed the total wait. A self-contradicting report is rejected at the form.
Coins from missions are held for 14 days before they can be spent.
A screenshot can be attached. It is stored on a private disk with no public route to it, only moderators see it, and it is never published.
Coins cannot be exchanged for money or transferred between accounts, so there is no resale value in filing false reports at scale.

What we do not claim

That member reports are a random sample. They are not. People who file a report are people who joined a rewards club and chose to spend two minutes on a form, and that is a particular kind of person. We can tell you the sample size and the spread; we cannot tell you the sample is representative, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

That a fast median is a recommendation. Payout speed is one property of a casino and not the most important one.

That our figures beat the operator on every method. Where the operator window and our median agree, we will say so.

The conflict, stated plainly

We earn a commission when a reader chooses a casino through some of the links on this site. That is how the site is funded, it costs the reader nothing extra, and it is disclosed on every page.

It also means the payout table is the one thing we cannot afford to bend, because it is the only reason to read us instead of the operator. If you find a figure here you think is wrong, write to us with what you measured and we will check it against the sample.
